Overview

Accommodating up to 24 guests in 10 expansive, well-spaced and totally private glass-fronted suites, as well as a two-bedroom private villa (called Little Madikwe), the lodge is scattered across the hillside and camouflaged by Tamboti trees. Wooden walkways connect the secluded suites to the central area, which includes a lounge, bar, wine cellar, TV room, dining room and a deck with a pool, overlooking the waterhole. The central area, located up a gentle slope, features cooling fans and a vaulted thatch ceiling supported by the large, twisted trunks of leadwood trees. Children above the age of 10 are welcome in the main lodge, while children of all ages are welcome in Little Madikwe.
