In June 2023, while staying at Satara Rest Camp in Kruger National Park, we arrived late and were greeted by a traffic jam signaling a lion sighting. To our delight, we discovered Casper and his brothers—Footloose, Mfowethu, and Casanova—were nearby. As we navigated through the sea of vehicles, my partner spotted Footloose, one of the dominant males, approaching us from behind. Bathed in golden light and with no cars between us, I captured this stunning moment of Footloose walking towards us, fulfilling a long-held wish for my portfolio.
